What’s in a Strain: SAGE

what's in a strain

With Thanksgiving a day away we wanted to highlight one more Autumn inspired strain. Let’s learn about SAGE.

SAGE stands for “Sativa Afghani Genetic Equilibrium” and as the name implies, this plant provides the best of both worlds. This strain is somewhat of a balancing act between an uplifting, energetic mind-racer and a deep, sedating couchlock. With a profound herbal sage scent, woodsy taste, and a hint of fruit, we believe this strain is the perfect Thanksgiving addition that pairs well with all five pounds of food on your plate.

The Chemistry: SAGE

SAGE is an earthy green to brown colored flower, filled with tiny amber-colored trichomes. The top terpenes provided by the strains’ imprint on Connect, consist of Terpinolene, Limonene, Myrcene, and Beta-Caryophyllene. SAGE has an average amount of THC and plenty of CBG (Cannabigerol) to go around. This is a great strain for the upcoming holiday; somehow providing a boost of energy while also relieving body tension and mental stress*. Perfect for counteracting tryptophan, post-feast sedation, and unwinding from the lively conversation with relatives.

Aroma Profile

Myrcene: Sour funky mango

Terpinolene: Diesel

Limonene: Citrus

Beta-Caryophyllene: Cinnamon, baking spices

*(Every strain creates different effects for each user.)
