Confident Cannabis has some of the best employees in the world. Are we biased? Maybe. This feature will introduce you to our talented staff and give you an insight into our company culture. This week meet client success manager, Ebonie Cobb.
I have some pretty deep conspiracy theories about the Kardashians. I am born and raised in Chicago where there is only one baseball team that matters, the White Sox. Former fitness professional and current AFTERlete. I wanted to be involved in the cannabis industry because it is vital for people of color to be represented in it.
5 serious questions:
What is your day-to-day like at Confident Cannabis?
I assist with making our clients happy. If they are having any issues, I do my best to solve them as quickly as possible.
Cannabis is an emerging market. What excited you about joining the industry?
I was most excited about being involved in an emerging industry. The idea of being apart of the early phases of the legal cannabis industry appealed to me because it is not very often an opportunity like this arises. I also think that it is essential for people of color to be represented in the cannabis industry.
Confident Cannabis thrives on transparency. What does that transparency mean to you?
Transparency means to be open about the good as well as the bad. No secrets!
What has been your favorite moment at work?
I love when clients send back nice messages after we solve an issue, just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
What’s been your most #StartUpLife moment?
I’ve worked in education for most of my career so coming to a startup was a significant adjustment. I think my favorite moment was when I opened the fridge and saw the Kombucha. I love Kombucha!

I’d like to take over for Vanna White one day, but instead of dresses, I’d wear basketball shorts and flip flops.
What was the last gift you gave someone?
Does paying for drinks count?

Yes! I enjoy working out as well as binging on tv shows or playing video games.
